Nassau County, a booming area in Northeast Florida, borders Georgia to the north and Duval County to the south. Nassau County is home to beautiful Amelia Island and the city of Fernandina Beach as well as the fast expanding town of Yulee. Fernandina beach is a charming town with cobblestone streets downtown and many waterfront dining destinations as well as the prestigious Ritz Carlton and Omni hotels. Yulee was predominantly rural until a few years ago, with credit to Yulee’s growth going to the development of two fantastic golf course communities, Amelia National and North Hampton. Since then, Yulee has gained many shopping centers and popular retailers. Still fairly easy to find in Nassau County are homes on acreage along with many new residential neighborhoods. Home owners appreciate the lower priced homes and small town feel all while being only a 30 minute drive to Jacksonville.
